Sea Bird Yawl plans are available from WoodenBoat. The plans, redrawn in 1981 from the originals, show both the centerboard and full keel design. Irene Agnes is the full keel model, which we believe offers a wider range of cruising options in terms of both stability and space below deck. Note that WoodenBoat also sells plans for a plywood revision of the design by Charles MacGregor. Be sure to choose the Mower version for the original Sea Bird.

Padanaram Boatworks in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Dave Strecker and Keith Brown have been responsible for the restoration of Irene Agnes in 2023-2024. They are highly recommended and happy to build new Sea Birds.
